Three
아직 잠깐만 are you ready
Hold on, wait, are you ready
내가 신호를 주면
When I give you the sign
하나 둘 셋 세고 눈을 떠 봐
Count to three and open your eyes
뭣 때문에 내가 이러는지
I’m sure you’re curious
넌 궁금해 하지만
Why I’m doing this
아무 날도 아닌걸
But it’s not just any day
Like Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday
너와 함께한 순간 내겐 always
Moments with you
매일 같이 특별했었으니까
Are always special
불어 봐 candle light candle light candle light baby
Blow on the candle light, candle light, candle light baby
함께해 준 모든 날 고맙다는 뜻이야
It means I’m thankful for all the days we spent together
이럴 땐 왠지 난 왠지 난 왠지 난 baby
At times like this, for some reason, baby
쑥스럽긴 하지만 널 사랑한단 뜻이야
I get shy but it means I love you
환하게 미소 진 눈부신 널 보니
When I see you brightly smiling and dazzling
Na na na na na na na
너와 나 영원히 해달란 소원이
My wish of us being together forever
다 이뤄질 것 같아
Seems like it will come true
마음속에 네가 있기에
Because you’re in my heart
자연스러워 내 멜로디
My melody is natural
너로 인해 가능해졌어 나의 꿈들이
My dreams were possible through you
이루고 싶어 전부 너와 함께
I want to fulfill them all with you
혼자가 아닌 이제 너와 같이 girl
I’m not alone, I’m with you girl
나 홀로 누군가가 필요할 때 나타나준 너
When I needed someone, you came to me
평범함 속에도 너의 소중함을 celebrate
Even in the ordinary, I celebrate your preciousness
촛불같이 놓여진 street 불빛들 마저 특별해
Streets shining with candles, even the lights are so special
늘 내 곁에 있어 줘
Always stay by my side

MIN DONGHYUN’S POV
I had just finished showering and was massaging my sore left arm. I needed to stay in top condition tomorrow because I had to win in all the sports I was competing in.
“Hey Donghyun, how was it?” Hyeil hyung asked, having just entered the locker room. “Your class won everything?”
“We lost in taekwondo. We lost straight to Chungdae hyung,” I complained. “Didn’t you watch?”
“Oh, that one, I did. I felt sorry for your friend; he was definitely knocked out. Chungdae has been a black belt for a long time, we know that.”
"What about your class, hyung?" I asked curiously, since I hadn't had a chance to chat with Dongsun hyung.
"We only lost in gymnastics and archery. You know Joonki became a laughingstock. And our representative lost to you. I actually wanted to participate in archery. If I had participated, maybe we wouldn't have lost," Hyeil hyung lamented. "You know I would have given you a fight."
"If only one person could participate in five events, hyung," I laughed sadly.
"By the way," Hyeil-hyung said slowly as he changed his shirt, "I already know the answer to that question you've been asking me for a long time."
"Which question?" I asked, confused.
"About Miss Baek's favorite."
I paused. I'd forgotten about that conversation with Hyeil-hyung. Maybe it slipped out. But I wanted to know Miss Baek's answer anyway.
"Her favorite is you."
“Me?”
“Yeah, she said you’re her favorite,” Hyeil hyung said casually after successfully putting on his new shirt.
“Then who else, hyung?”
“Then your hyung, me, Chungdae, and Joonki.”
Oh, she mentioned Chungdae hyung.
“What do you need that information for, exactly?”
“I want to know who Miss Baek cares about more: me, or Chungdae hyung.”
“Chungdae? What’s wrong with him?”
“They seem close, right, hyung?”
“Who? Chungdae and Youngkyong?”
“Chungdae hyung and Miss Baek,” I replied, emphasizing Miss Baek’s name.
“Well, they do seem close, especially since Miss Baek is the homeroom teacher for Class 3A and Chungdae is the class president. But what’s the connection…” Hyeil hyung scratched the back of his head, but suddenly his eyes widened, “DONGHYUN! DON’T TELL ME…”
“Hyung, please don’t tell anyone,” I pleaded, “I think I’m falling in love with Miss Baek Choeun.”
Hyeil hyung dropped the racket he was holding.

The second day of Hwachin School's sports week. I was truly amazed by the kids' strength. They'd been exercising for two days, but they didn't seem tired. I was already exhausted just walking around, so what about them? But maybe that's just because I'm getting older. I was visiting the archery competition, while Chungdae was getting ready for the soccer match after this.
"MIN DONGHYUN AAAAA~"
Damn, that was the loudest scream I've heard all year. A group of freshman high school girls were gathered around, holding banners with the name 민동현 written on them, and for the character, they'd deliberately replaced it with a love shape. They seemed to be new members of the Min Brothers Fansclub. It was undeniable that Donghyun looked cool when he was exercising, especially since he and his bow seemed so lifelike. And just this morning, he had advanced again in bowling, making it to the semifinals. Chungdae also won and would have advanced to the semifinals, but they hadn't met. If they both won, they would have met in the finals.
"Imagine if he were an actor in a saeguk drama," Eunyul eonni suddenly appeared beside me.
"He became the crown prince?"
"Or the crown prince's younger brother, Dongsun's crown prince."
“Imagine him wearing an expensive hanbok?”
“Ah, that drives me crazy,” whispered Eunyul unni as she took a video of Donghyun.
“Min Donghyun from Class 2B wins!” said Hwang Saem, the archery commentator. “He’ll advance to the semifinals tomorrow.”
“DONGHYUN-SSI SARANGHAE!” the girls screamed hysterically.
I rolled my eyes. Donghyun quickly ran over to me.
“Miss, has my class’s soccer match started yet?” he asked, his face slightly sweaty.
“Not yet, after our class’s match.”
“Okay, I can rest while watching. Let’s go there together.”
Finally, Donghyun, Eunyul, and I all went to the soccer field. Donghyun borrowed my notebook.
"So if our class and Class 3A win, and win again in the semifinals, we'll meet in the final," Donghyun said.
"What do you think, can 3A win? 3B has a lot of good players."
"It's quite difficult. But that doesn't mean there's no chance, Miss."
"Honestly, right now, I hope my class wins," I said as we both entered the soccer field.
"And when the final comes, Miss will still support Class 3A?" Donghyun asked, looking at me. "I know it's Miss's class. But hearing that makes me sad."
I couldn't answer before the roar of the crowd filled the field.
"Is he okay?"
"It looked pretty hard."
I looked back to the field and saw Chungdae fall, clutching his leg. The referee came to check on Chungdae. Chungdae tried to stand up with Dongsun's help, but he ended up sitting back down.
"It must have been an accident," said Eunyul unni, "but it was pretty hard."
I looked around frantically as Chungdae was carried out to the locker room on a stretcher. He was replaced by Hakyeon.
"Wait a minute, I'll go check on Chungdae," I asked Donghyun and Eunyul unni.
I hoped Chungdae's injury wasn't serious. I didn't care if 3A lost a representative in taekwondo; Dongsun could still advance. But if Chungdae was like this…
“HEO CHUNGDAE! Park Saem, is Chungdae's injury not serious?” I asked Park Saem from the School Infirmary, who had just examined his leg.
“His left leg is slightly sprained. It would be best if he met me after 5 p.m. For now, I have to go back to the field. But I've already given him initial treatment.”
“Okay, thank you, Saem.”
I immediately sat down next to Chungdae, who was sitting with his left leg propped up on the bench across from him.
“I'm touched that Miss is so considerate of me,” he said with a wide smile.
“You can still joke. How are you feeling now?” I asked, frowning.
“It feels a bit better after the medicine. Can I go back down?”
I felt the overwhelming urge to smack him upside the head again.
“You’ve been replaced.”
“Oh, what a shame…it wasn’t necessary.”
“I’ll find a replacement for you in taekwondo.”
“No! I can still do it.”
“With that injured leg of yours? Come on, Chungdae, don’t be stubborn.”
“I have to be stubborn.”
“Why?”
“I have to win that bet,” Chungdae replied, his face looking exasperated.
“I’ll still consider you the winner.”
“I have to win like a man. Please support me, miss.”
My heart pounded again. For a moment, he seemed much more mature than his age.
“But what if you get hurt?”
“I promise you, I won’t get hurt, miss,” he replied without thinking.

“You said he was injured? But why is he still participating in the taekwondo tournament?” Eunyul eonni asked.
We sat watching the taekwondo match that afternoon. Dongsun had won again, and now Chungdae was competing.
“You know, he’s stubborn.”
“If his opponent attacks his left leg, he’ll be finished.”
I nervously tugged at the hem of my blazer as I watched Chungdae compete. He looked unbalanced. But apparently I’d worried too much. He defeated the 2A Middle School representative, too. Chungdae’s fans screamed with joy, and Chungdae celebrated by running around the arena.
“If Chungdae and Dongsun win tomorrow, it will be an all-3A final match,” Eunyul eonni said.
“I don’t know whose side I’ll take,” I said with a tired sigh.
"Honestly, you're going to side with Chungdae, right?"
The person mentioned had just approached us.
"Miss, after the volleyball match, come accompany me to get treated by Park Saem," he requested.
Luckily, he didn't seem to hear our conversation.
"Why should I accompany you?" I asked, puzzled.
"Surely because you don't want your handsome student to get hurt any more, right?"
"You seem to be feeling better."
"No, not really," Chungdae replied, sitting next to me and suddenly holding his left leg. "Ouch, that hurts so much."
I rolled my eyes. "Stop faking it."
Eunyul eonni laughed seeing Chungdae's actions.
